 The PowrDock system is another alternative to idling. PowrDock was developed to allow drivers with shore power capable trucks and electric Auxiliary Power Units (APU) to plug into a stationary power pedestal that is mounted to a concrete pad. While the E-Dock system can address the entire population of trucks out there, there are some drivers that may only want power. Furthermore, the great benefit of the PowrDock is that it can be coupled with an E-Dock system to service two parking spaces at the same time as well as provide charging capability to electric vehicles (EVs) and electrical service to recreational vehicles (RVs).
